Exercise 5 - Cloud video

The cloud video is based on excerpts from Meteosat IR images from 15 and 16 March 2000.

Run the video and observe cloud development around the Alps. Use the options to control the video.

Draw a cross section of the Alps on paper and show the cloud development as it is seen in the cloud video.

Why are there no clouds south of the Alps?
