ESA astronat Jean-Pierre Haignere blasted off from the Baikonur Cosmodrome on February 20th, 1999, bound for a six month stay aboard the Russian space station Mir. This mission, named Perseus, is the fifth French-Russian mission to date.
This cassette contains footage, taken from the Russian Soyuz capsule, of the approach to the docking port of Mir.
