Tape one of three tapes of rushes filmed in Neuchatel, Switzerland of atomic clocks to find out how they will help with the Galileo Navigation System. This tape of rushes features the company Temex Neuchatel Time who are building a Rubidium based atomic clock. In navigation, clocks are the driving factor for determining positions accurately. With an accuracy of better than one billionth of a second in one hour, the clocks on the Galileo satellites will make it possible to resolve a position anywhere on the Earth's surface to within 45 cm.
