    • Description

The video includes animations and images, activivities at the Baikonur Cosmodrome and several interviews of scientists describing the scientific objectives of the mission and the results that they hope to obtain. Venus is the sister-planet of Earth but its very strong greehouse effect makes it a sort of hell with hurricane winds and very high temperatures. Several probes and balloons have reached the planet and given a lot of important information on its atmosphere and soil. However, why the planet became so hot is still to be explained in detail and this could be important to better understand the future of our planet Earth. Venus Express will contribute to that but other missions will follow to make also in-situ measurements.
