    • Description

Alphasat, the most sophisticated commercial communications satellite ever built, is due for launch at the end of July. The mission is a partnership between the European Space Agency and satellite operator, Inmarsat, and will be the first flight of Europe’s powerful new Alphabus satellite platform. The public-private partnership that made Alphasat possible will put the European space industry in a strong position for the future.
