At ESA's ESTEC centre near Amsterdam and at CERN in Geneva, scientists are trying to explore 'The Dark Side': the mysterious forces of dark matter and dark energy which are thought to rule the cosmos. The Euclid space telescope will soon offer a unique point of view on the cosmos; while on the ground, at sub-atomic level, CERN’s particle accelerator will produce new observations.
