Watch the first batch of satellites being released into space by Vega’s Small Spacecraft Mission Service (SSMS) dispenser on 2 September 2020.
Vega lifted off on flight VV16 from Europe’s Spaceport in French Guiana on its first rideshare mission dedicated to light satellites. A total of 53 satellites were released into two separate Sun-synchronous orbits.
