      Europe has built up the strongest Earth Observation capacity in the world as a result of collaborations between ESA, EUMETSAT, the European Commission and member states.

      In this video ESA’s Director of Earth Observation Programmes Dr Josef Aschbacher, explains how the EO community needs to keep innovating and capitalise on new technologies to maintain this capacity. He covers the rise of AI, the economic benefits of EO, open science, and how Φ-lab brings this all together.
