    • Description

The Orion vehicle for the Artemis II mission was lifted out of a vacuum chamber at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center on 27 April 2024, after several days of electromagnetic compatibility and interference testing. The middle cylindrical section is ESA’s second European Service Module, the powerhouse of the Orion vehicle that will propel astronauts around the Moon and back for the first time since Apollo.
