    Applications open for student experiments

    The GRAVARC team experiment

    ESA is inviting university students to participate in two educational programmes that will take place in 2013. Each programme is an exciting opportunity to design an experiment and conduct scientific research.

    Spin Your Thesis!

    The ETH Space Biology team

    This programme enables university students to carry out experiments in hypergravity, using the Large Diameter Centrifuge at the Agency’s ESTEC space research and technology centre in the Netherlands.

    It is open to undergraduate students and those following a Masters or PhD course. Up to four teams will be selected.
    The deadline for proposal submissions is 5 February 2013.

    Drop Your Thesis!

    The Falling Roots team with the drop capsule

    This programme enables university students to carry out an experiment in microgravity at the drop tower of the ZARM Centre of Applied Space Technology and Microgravity in Bremen, Germany.

    It is open to undergraduate students and those following a Masters or PhD course. One team will be selected.
    The deadline for proposal submissions is 11 February 2013.
