Launch of Space Shuttle Endeavour on the STS-126 mission to the International Space Station. Endeavour launched from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida at 01:55 CET on 15 November 2008(07:55 Florida time, 14 November 2008).

Copy of Declaration handed over to ESA DG
Ms Rama Yade, State Secretary for Foreign Affairs and Human Rights within the French government, handed over a copy of the Declaration to ESA’s Director General, Jean-Jacques Dordain in a special ceremony on 7 November.
