The data was acquired in the 20 channels as the satellite passed between Dongara and Svalbard (Norway), where the data were downloaded. The radiation collected in each channel corresponds to a different height in the atmosphere. Due to the fact that at the time of acquisition it was night, the visible channel (band 20) appears black. The strips in the image correspond to instrument calibration cycles. All the telemetries are within the expected limits and the instrument is ready to start the verification phase before starting its operational service. Data recorded on 21 November 2006.
