A cloud-based web service called Sentinel Hub and designed by a team from Slovenia’s Sinergise won the 2016 Copernicus Masters grand prize. This new service allows non-expert users to browse, process and distribute large amounts of Earth observation data. Along with the service’s ease of use, it can be integrated into any geographic information system and is now poised to improve daily work for developers, scientists and other target groups.
