With the launch of the Sentinel-1D satellite scheduled for 4 November 2025 from Europe's Spaceport in French Guiana, the Ariane 6 rocket fairing is adorned with the mission sticker.
Once in orbit, Sentinel-1D will join its sibling Sentinel-1C, to extend the Copernicus Sentinel-1 mission’s legacy, delivering radar imagery to monitor Earth’s changing environment to support a diverse range of applications and scientific research.
