Liftoff from Europe’s Spaceport in French Guiana is set for 1 December 14:21 local time (17:21 GMT, 18:21 CET).
Kompsat-7 (KOrea Multi-Purpose SATellite-7) will provide high-resolution satellite images for South-Korea's government and institutions.
This Vega-C flight, designated VV28 is run by Arianespace from Europe's Spaceport in French Guiana. Vega-C will place Kompsat-7 in a Sun-synchronous orbit. From liftoff it will take around 45 minutes to deploy the satellite.
Kompsat-7 was developed by the Korea Aerospace Research Institute at its facility in Daejeon, South Korea, and it weighs around 2000 kg on the launch pad.
