Luca Parmitano: Artemis recovery training

In March 2025, ESA astronaut Luca Parmitano took part in Underway Recovery Test 12, an Artemis recovery demonstration to test how to get astronauts safely out of the Orion capsule after it splashes down, and back to the ground. Luca participated in the test with NASA astronauts Stan Love, Andre Douglas and Deniz Burnham.
