On 12 August 2026, Spain witnessed its first total solar eclipse since 1912. From the Observatorio Astrofísico de Javalambre, ESA broadcasted live, allowing anybody to experience the event from home.
The broadcast included a live feed from a telescope located at the observatory, giving a stunning view of the Sun as it was eclipsed by the Moon.
