NAVISP signs contract for resilient rail with Airbus

On 14 October, at the NAVISP Industry Days in Rome, Italy, the European Space Agency (ESA) signed a contract with Airbus Defence and Space (Germany) to explore the potential of using publicly available 5G networks to provide safe and accurate positioning for rail applications. The contract was signed by Julien Michelon on behalf of Airbus and Stefano Binda on behalf of ESA.
