Amelia Samuel

Hello! I'm Amelia, and I joined the ACT in May 2026 as a visiting researcher. I am currently in the second year of my PhD in Planetary Science at the University of Liverpool, UK. Before starting my PhD, I completed an MEng in Aeronautical Engineering at Imperial College London.

My research focusses on how gravitational data from asteroids can be better exploited to model their internal structures, with applications to ESA's Hera mission.

Outside of research, I enjoy arts and crafts, especially drawing and sewing. I also love climbing and playing roller derby!
