Paolo Cirrincione Pazé

I am currently an intern at the European Space Agency’s Advanced Concepts Team (ACT). I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Politecnico di Torino, where I am also completing my Master’s in Space Engineering.
At university, I was particularly fascinated by rocket propulsion, space flight mechanics and deep learning. My thesis work focuses on trajectory optimization for collision avoidance using Deep Reinforcement Learning. Building on this work, my current project at ACT involves developing a simulated database of Conjunction Data Messages (CDMs), which will support the creation of a new Collision Avoidance Challenge hosted on the Kelvins platform.
In addition to my technical interests, I have a deep passion for acting. After obtaining my Bachelor’s, I actually spent two years studying cinema in Rome! I also love playing chess, picking up the guitar, and traveling whenever I get the chance.
