Tove Ågren

Hej! I am an intern in Artificial Intelligence in the Advanced Concepts team since February 2022, working on neural network approximators of linear algebra operations.

Currently, I am in the final year of my M.Sc. degree in Applied and Computational Mathematics, specializing in Mathematics for Data Science at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden. I am writing my thesis at the Swedish Space Corporations on sounding rocket statistical dispersion analysis. I received my B.Sc. in Engineering Physics, also at KTH.

My research interests lie in the intersection of mathematical theory and fascinating applications, preferably within the space sector or, my recent interest, computational neuroscience. I enjoy machine learning and modern statistics such as MC-methods and Bayesian statistics. I also hold an interest on PDE theory and numerical methods for differential equations as well as numerical linear algebra.

In my free time I drink considerable amounts of specialty coffee, go for long runs and do kick boxing. In the summers you are likely to find me sailing in the archipelago of Stockholm.
