Copernicus

The Copernicus Sentinel missions, which form part of the Copernicus Space Component, will collect robust, long-term, climate-relevant datasets. They are developed and co-funded together with the European Commission. Preparations have started for the development of the Jason-CS series, also known as Sentinel-6.

Every year the Agency organises a Space Apps camp to create applications for mobile phones that bring Earth observation to the everyday user. The Agency also supports the Copernicus Masters, which awards innovative solutions for business and societies based on Earth observation data.
