Certificate of Gratitude awarded to the ECSL by the International Institute of Space Law
During the International Astronautical Congress in Australia the Board of Directors of the International Institute of Space Law (IISL) handed out several recognitions to institutions who are active in encouraging and ensuring capacity building within space law. The ECSL is very honoured to have received a Certificate of Gratitude.
The Certificate was accepted by Dr. Marco Ferrazzani in his capacity as a Board Member of the ECSL. The Certificate recognises the ECSL's long standing support for the organisation of the European Regional Rounds of the Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition, its outstanding efforts to expand the participation over the years and for its significant contribution to the IISL’s objective for capacity building in space law, and for nurturing an exemplary spirit of international cooperation in promoting the capacity for space law among the young generation in the European Region.
The European Space Agency was also given a Certificate of Gratitude for its institutional support to the ECSL, long standing support of the European Rounds of the Manfred Lachs Moot Court, its stewardship in promoting the human resource capacity in the field of space law and for nurturing exemplary spirit of international cooperation and development of international Space law. The ECSL is very grateful for the continuous support from ESA and this recognition from the IISL.
