ESA at Ecsite Space Group Annual Meeting 2021

The Space Group, with more than 190 members and the support of ESA, aims to facilitate the exchange of ideas and projects to better share the European achievements in space with the general public.

The Space Group is led by three co-chairs: Maria Menendez, Head of ESA Outreach Coordination Office, Ana Noronha, Executive Director of Ciência Viva, Lisbon, Portugal, and Christophe Chaffardon, Education, Science and Culture Director at Cité de l’espace, Toulouse, France.

The event will cover:

• the latest news from ESA, the French space agency CNES, and other French space institutions;
• exchanges with representatives working with museums and engagement communities;
• a closer look at Cité de l’espace to discover exhibition elements developed in cooperation with ESA;
• other innovative resources, initiatives and ideas from science engagement peers;
• the presentation of ready to use ESA resources and pop-up shop;
• the opportunity for participants to share space projects in order to further cooperate between museums in Europe;
