The 16th European Space Conference will take place on 23–24 January 2024 in Brussels and the European Space Agency will play a central role in this event. Live-streamed sessions featuring the keynote address by ESA Director General Josef Aschbacher, and a conversation with ESA astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti will be available on ESA web TV.

On 23–24 January, the European Space Conference returns for its 16th edition. Held at the Square convention centre in Brussels, the conference brings together key stakeholders from EU institutions and Member States, the European Space Agency, space industry and academia to discuss the future of space within a European context.

The 2-day conference agenda features several main sessions, punctuated by keynote addresses and one-to-one dialogues. These will cover a vast range of space activities, including exploration, connectivity, education, the space economy and space law within a European framework.

ESA Director General Josef Aschbacher will give his keynote speech on the first day of the conference, 23 January at 9:25 am, while the conversation with Samantha Cristoforetti is scheduled for the second day, 24 January at 9:20. Both will be streamed live on ESA web TV (Channel 2).
