Save the date: deep dive into space engagement at Ecsite 2025!
The 2025 edition of the Ecsite Conference will take place from 3 to 5 June 2025. Held this year at the Copernicus Science Centre in Warsaw, Poland, the event will feature participation from the European Space Agency (ESA) and the Ecsite Space Group.
Engaging audiences with space: a collaborative workshop hosted by ESA and the Ecsite Space Group
As with previous editions, ESA and the Ecsite Space Group will host a pre-conference workshop titled 'Engaging audiences with space: a collaborative workshop on the Future'. This event offers a unique opportunity for space actors, educators, curators, science communicators and representatives from space agencies to come together for a day of learning, networking and innovation. Participants will have the chance to explore the latest trends, challenges and opportunities in space engagement and help shape the future of how science centres, museums and outreach professionals inspire and connect the public with space.
The afternoon session will feature a panel discussion on how immersive and digital tools can enhance audience engagement in exhibitions and educational initiatives. Panellists will share real-world case studies, explore strategies for engaging audiences and highlight emerging trends in digital and immersive experiences. ESA’s role in advancing these approaches will be central to the discussion, offering practical insights for institutions aiming to innovate.
The Ecsite Trade Show
The Ecsite Trade Show will take place during the Ecsite Conference. ESA and the Ecsite Space Group will be present with a dedicated booth that will serve as a platform to connect, exchange ideas and follow up on discussions from the Space Group workshop and conference sessions.

The Ecsite Space Group
The Ecsite Space Group brings together representatives from science centres, museums and professional science communicators in the space domain. With over 300 members, the group benefits from the well-established European networks of Ecsite, as well as ESA's European Space network and its Member States.
The Ecsite Space Group convenes twice a year, during the Ecsite Annual Conference (in June) and the Space Group annual meeting (at the end of each year).
