Industrial Competitiveness
ESA's Industrial Competitiveness line under the Advanced Research in Telecommunications Systems (ARTES) programme maintains and improves competitiveness for European and Canadian satellite communications industries.
It is designed to support the innovative development of technology, products and systems by reducing costs and time-to-market, as well as the development of sustainable systems from ground to in-orbit validation.
Through its two components, this programme enables organisations to transform promising concepts into market-ready solutions, covering the entire development cycle:
- Technology and Products: helps European and Canadian industry to develop innovative products, services, systems and partnerships in satellite communications.
- Partnership Projects: federates industry around large-scale programmes to develop innovative cutting-edge solutions together with private or public operators.
