The forum will consist of several presentations by invited speakers on the use of Earth observation data to improve transparency and credibility in carbon markets, complemented by round-table discussions where participants can share their experiences and ideas on the topic. There will also be a poster session where participants can showcase their research or projects related to the use of Earth observation data in carbon markets.

The Earth Explorer 11 User Consultation Meeting event is planned to support the selection of up to two out of four candidate missions that are currently competing to become ESA’s Earth Explorer 11 mission: CAIRT, Nitrosat, Seastar, and WIVERN.
