The workshop aims to explore the fusion of traditional Earth System Observation and Prediction techniques with machine learning and deep learning methods. It seeks to showcase the impact achieved through this fusion, while also addressing the remaining challenges that need further exploration. 

The EO Science Strategy Review Workshop is the next important milestone in the process of developing a new EO Science Strategy. The main workshop objectives are to:

• present the draft of the new EO Science Strategy to be reviewed by the Earth observation science community
• review and collect recommendations from the community on the role of Digital Innovation, Open Science, Commercial EO and other factors influencing implementation of the new EO science strategy
• identify programmatic considerations driving the EO Science Strategy
• present and review with the community the expected role of the new Strategy in guiding implementation of ESA Earth Observation Programmes
• provide an opportunity for collecting final feedback from the EO community.

The conference will foster scientific exchanges and collaborations in the broad community involved in ocean salinity science, applications, technology development, product services, and community building.

The Earth Observation for Agriculture Under Pressure Workshop brings together the large community working on EO-based science and solutions for agriculture as well as users, including scientists, data and service providers, national and international agencies and other institutions and organisations, in order to present and discuss the state of the art, evolving needs and priority areas for future projects of Horizon Europe and FutureEO.
