Sentinel-5: tangible benefits for society

Planned for liftoff on 13 August 2025 CEST aboard the first MetOp Second Generation satellite, MetOp-SG-A1, the Copernicus Sentinel-5 mission will provide tangible benefits for society.

Its data will contribute to global environment monitoring, track progress on climate goals and support air quality alerts for all citizens.
