BepiColombo approaches Mercury
The ESA/JAXA BepiColombo mission is set to arrive to Mercury on 21 November 2026. Bepi, Mio and their trusty engine MTM cannot wait to arrive!
BepiColombo’s cartoon characters Bepi, Mio and MTM correspond to the mission's three elements: ESA’s Mercury Planetary Orbiter (shown in blue, middle), JAXA’s Mercury Magnetospheric Orbiter (red, front of spacecraft) and the ESA-built Mercury Transfer Module (grey, bottom), respectively.
