Celebrating asteroid ESOC

Amateur astronomer Erwin Schwab (left) and ESA’s former Head of Planetary Defence, Detlef Koschny (right) celebrate the naming of an asteroid that they discovered "(810657) ESOC", after ESA's European Space Operations Centre, together with Head of ESOC and Director of Operations, Rolf Densing (Centre).
