A successful conclusion for the in-orbit validation phase of Galileo
The concept of the Galileo system works and well. Following a first positioning in March this year, the Galileo system has been thoroughly tested for months in laboratory, van, and other means of transport.
These tests have shown that the performances measured are aligned, sometimes above expectations.
A crucial milestone for the system now ready for its build up.
