Andrew Shepherd from the University of Leeds describes how scientists from around the world have joined forces in the Ice sheet Mass Balance Intercomparison Exercise to use information from 11 different satellites to work out how much ice has been lost from Antarctica over the last 25 years, and the effect this is having on sea levels.
