In brief

IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING COVID-19.

Due to the improved situation regarding Covid-19 evolution in the ESA Member states, ESA Education Office has decided to restart primary and secondary teacher workshops with physical presence, in the e-technology lab, at ESEC site in Belgium, starting from October 2022.

Depending on the evolution of the corona virus situation, and in line with governmental instructions across Europe and with the recommendations of ESA's Director General on travel restrictions for health and safety reasons, the ESA Education Office reserves the right to adapt the format or cancel any scheduled workshop for 2023.

In-depth

Primary school teachers from ESA Member States, Canada, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Slovakia, Slovenia and Malta are invited to apply to technology and robotics training workshops to be delivered by the ESA Education Office at the ESA Education Training Centre, located in Belgium, from May to June 2023.

The technology and robotics workshops for primary school teachers will take place on 22-23 May and 15-16 June 2023. Interested teachers can chose to apply to one workshop only.

The number of available places is limited, so apply now so as not to miss this opportunity!

What to expect?

The e-technology lab workshops make use of a range of educational technology tools (including but not limited to LEGO education and Raspberry Pi) within the context of space to enable participating teachers to engage and inspire their students in STEM subjects. Teachers will also learn how they can make use of these educational tools to participate in ESA classroom projects with their students.
