This very week, an unprecedentedly successful ESA Council at Ministerial level (CM22) took place in Paris, France. All ESA’s participating States have decided upon a great space programme shaped to achieve Europe’s space ambitions.

All this is happening at the dawn of a new space era, where space itself plays a top role in addressing global challenges such as climate change and security, and where a re-boosted exploration of space becomes an opportunity for mankind to advance science and technology to unprecedented levels, and then inject new knowledge into society’s growth and well-being.

To maintain its capabilities and leadership and to build the Human Capital to turn Europe’s space strategy and ambitions into reality, ESA is increasing its efforts to inspire, attract and engage the next generation to STEM and space-related careers.

With its Space for Education 2030 vision, the ESA Education programme is set to support the young generation, at all age levels. The aim is to help them build the right skills they need in the 21st century to sustain Europe in space and society at large with its challenges and brand-new opportunities, and to build an informed, active citizenship.

Take a look at what animates Space for Education 2030, and get ready for a whole new world of space-based learning at ESA!
