N° 22–1997: Renewal of Mr Jörg Feustel-Büechl's contract

The contract of Mr Jörg Feustel-Büechl, Director of Manned Spaceflight and Microgravity, has been renewed for a four year term running to October 2002 (see Press Release 21-97 of 1 July 1997).
Mr Feustel-Büechl thus remains in charge of organising the European contribution to the International Space Station and the related ESA programmes, notably the Columbus orbital facility, the automated transfer vehicle, the European robotic arm, the European Astronaut Centre and the microgravity (life and materials science) programmes.
