Europe can now launch any satellite on any orbit thanks to its complete portfolio: Ariane, Soyuz and Vega, all ready to lift off from Kourou.

This is for the present days but the future is already in view.

At the last ESA Ministerial council In Naples it was decided to adapt Ariane 5 and design a new launcher, Ariane 6, with the goal to develop as many commonalities as possible between the two launchers.

This video explains the current status of launchers from Europe’s spaceport and what is currently being prepared for Ariane 5 and Ariane 6. It includes an interview with ESA’s Director of Launchers, Antonio Fabrizi.
