Galileo Ariane 5 launch live

Follow the launch of Galileo satellites on top of Ariane 5.

Lift off is scheduled at 15:36 Kourou, 18h36 GMT this 12 December from Europe’ Spaceport in French Guyane.

This mission will mark the second use of Ariane 5 to loft spacecraft for Europe’s Galileo global navigation system which will be completed in 2018.

The transmission will be in two parts (Time in GMT) with tests starting at 17h30.

- 18h10 - 19h00 : lift-off, ascent and first phases of flight.

- 22h00 - 24h00 : Satellite separations (2 by 2) and final statements.

Launch highlights will be posted on ESA TV FTP server within one hour after end of video transmission.
