ESA Open Days 2026
Your chance to meet the European Space Agency
Between 19 September and 10 October 2026, we opened the doors of six ESA establishments in France, Italy, the Netherlands, Germany, Spain and the United Kingdom for the much-anticipated ESA Open Days. Together, the sites welcomed some 23 000 visitors, who explored the places where European space missions are designed, tested and operated. Astronauts, scientists, engineers, partners and volunteers were on hand everywhere to guide visitors, answer questions and share their work. Across the sites, well over 200 activities were on offer: talks, workshops, simulations, tours, exhibitions, VR experiences, rocket launches and hands-on experiments for every age.
