ESA is going Forward to the Moon. Artemis-1, powered by the European Service Module, is the first mission of a programme that will eventually put the first Europeans on the Moon. But this is not a new idea: ESA has been studying and working towards this for years.

On this page you will find our new interactive publication about the Moon, and a collection of publications concerning proposals to explore the Moon going back 30 years.
