The summit brings together parties to inspire faster and more ambitious action from the international community towards the goals of the Paris Agreement and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.

A virtual workshop from the Sentinels Benefits Study (SeBS), where a number of case studies using data from the Sentinel satellites will be presented. Each case study underlines the causal relationship between the use of Copernicus Sentinel satellite data and benefits resulting from their use, including increased productivity, more efficient and environmentally-friendly operations, economic gains and improved quality of life, among others. The main aim is to understand and demonstrate the value generated using satellite-based Earth observations and particularly the data coming from the Copernicus Sentinel satellites.
