Ariane 5, V119 on the launch pad of the Launch Zone Number 3 (ZL3), during the XMM-Newton campaign.

Ariane 5 is an ESA programme for which ESA delegated management responsibility to CNES. Launch operations are managed by Arianespace at the ELA-3 launch site at Kourou, Europe's Spaceport in French Guiana.
