From policymakers to industry, start-ups, entrepreneurs, public authorities, investors and users, the European Space Week is the place to be for anyone interested in current – and future – trends of the EU’s Space Programme. The event will include plenaries, panel discussions and high-level keynote addresses.

The workshop will put together the science community to present and discuss EarthCARE science topics and results, foster collaboration between the existing EarthCARE validation teams and encourage a wider community to join the validation activities.

This event will focus on reviewing the latest advances in Earth observation and Earth system science across different domains and will showcase the latest ESA and EC funded results, projects (e.g., ESA Science Clusters) and initiatives as a basis for networking and interdisciplinary science.

The 4th edition of the VH-RODA Workshop will provide an open forum (for the new space, commercial and institutional space sectors) for presenting and discussing about the current status and future developments related to Earth observation data quality, calibration and validation of space-borne very high-resolution SAR and optical constellations, sensors and data products, with a dedicated focus on commercial Earth observation data providers and related Cal/Val activities, synergies between optical and SAR communities, presentation of standards and best practices for data quality.

This workshop is intended to bring together the communities interested in ESA’s 9th Earth Explorer FORUM and focus on the latest scientific developments.
