Stefan Löhle and David Leiser of the University of Stuttgart are setting up their instruments in front of the plane windows in August 2026.
The ROSIE airborne observation campaigns, led by Astros Solutions, will take them to the skies from Tonga twice to witness Cluster satellites Samba and Tango's reentry into the atmosphere about 24 hours apart.
