The Flight Software Section (TEC-EDS), led by Marek Prochazka, provides expert project support for flight software (FSW) and related aspects for all ESA missions across all directorates.
Supporting all ESA projects across all directorates in the areas of flight software and functional engineering
independent V&V of critical FSW
V&V benches (such as SVF, OBC emulators)
HW-SW co-engineering, fault management, end-to-end operations, AIT/AIV activities
Development and assessment of FSW technologies, methods and tools
Participation in software and data handling related standardization
Running Flight Software Lab as a part of the Avionics Lab to support R&D and industrial activities
