Complex systems output massive amounts of data, leaving the problem to navigate an ocean of noise. Rather than ignoring or filtering out the noise, OptOSS AI (Artificial Intelligence) collects, sorts, and intelligently analyses all streamed data and unravels real-time actionable insights.
The platform detect early signs of trouble, and always know the health of an entire IT infrastructure. It has been being developed with the support from ESA Business Incubation Centre in Noordwijk.

Recognize anomaly patterns
Opptoss AI is a generic artificial-intelligence-drive platform that collects, processes and autonomously analyses massive streams of time-series data, both structuresd and unstructured.
The platform detects known and unknown anomalies in complex IT environments, allowing operators to identify and address hidden faults before they spin out of control.
Optoss AI indexes, scales and automates human expertise through the use of domain specific AI knowledge packs.
The OptOSS AI platform helps operations teams work quicker, smarter, and more effectively. It empowers human operators to innovate by automating mundane and repetitive operational work. This gives them superhuman powers as men and women can process Terabytes of Big Data per day.
The OPT/NET founder Taras Matselyukh is a telecom expert who has developed a self-learning system that detects and mitigates underlying problems before they can cause damage to networks. After spending years working in the telecom business he eventually ventured out and started his own consultancy business.
OPT/NET was accepted to ESA Business Incubation Centre in Noordwijk, the Netherlands, where he developed the Optoss platform into a fully functional product that is capable of detecting, and remembering anomalies. This means that if an anomaly has been detected once, it will recognise it in the future and immediately pursue the correct course of action.

With the use of artificial intelligent (AI), Taras Matselyukh wants to turn human operators/analysts into super-humans using AI.
Last year OPT/NET announced that they have successfully closed another seed round which brings total sum of investments into the company to more than 500k Euro. This investment will allow the company to further develop OptOSS AI and fulfil their goals of revolutionizing the way companies process and analyse massive amounts of data in real-time.
Winning in the ESA sponsored Copernicus Challenge
Proposing Optoss AI as the Incident & Security Alarm Platform in 2017 to the Copernicus Master contest OPT/NET won the Copernicus Security Challenge .
«The jury selected OPTOSS as the winner of this challenge because it deals with large amounts of observational data under stressful conditions. These conditions increase the risk of failing to detect a threat. In this context OPTOSS may close the current gap that exists for the Copernicus Emergency and Security Services with regard to situational awareness and intelligence in critical situations.

ESA Business Applications and Space Solutions
ESA’s Business Applications and Space Solutions programme has a network of 20 ESA Business Incubation Centres, 15 ESA Innovation Partners and 14 ESA Ambassadors throughout Europe. It co-funds projects and start-ups, while also offering technical and business support to companies that seek to deliver rapid innovation and to raise private investment.
Overall ESA spends €400 million a year on strengthening the competitiveness of European and Canadian companies in the global markets for both satellite communications andr downstream applications.
ESA BICs - World's largest ecosystem for space-related entrepreneurship
The ESA Business Incubation Centre Hessen & Baden-Württemberg was founded in 2007 and it part of the wider network of 20 ESA BICs throughput Europe.
The 20 ESA Business Incubation Centres (ESA BICs) form the largest ecosystem in the world for space-related entrepreneurship and have fostered over 700 start-ups throughout Europe. Spread across some 60 cities in 17 countries, more than 300 start-ups are currently under the two-year business incubation development booster programme.
The centres offer complete access to all aspects of space-related innovation, technology and intellectual properties and is a gateway to ESA and European space research and developments. Located in Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the Netherlands and UK, with more to open, over 700 start-ups have been fostered and another 180 new start-ups are taken in yearly to be supported under the two-years business development booster programme.
