Go to topicHEAT experiment was successfully carried out by NASA astronaut Mike Fincke on board the International Space Station on 5 and 6 September 2004.
HEAT was originally part of the scientic package of the Dutch Soyuz DELTA Mission of André Kuipers in April 2004. At that time there was a problem with the cooling, so that the experiment was only partially performed.
