Power

Power is a key factor in all of the proposed exploration missions from the early, small robotic missions, to a later large-scale human presence on Mars.

The main challenges for power generation are to cope with the harsh environment inducing reduced solar cell performances for example and to start thinking of new technologies enabling enhanced capabilities.
