| PR 8-2009 | ESA to launch two large observatories to look deep into space and time 7 May 2009 Two of the most sophisticated astronomical spacecraft ever built –Herschel and Planck– will be launched by ESA this month towards deep space orbits around a special observation point beyond the Moon's orbit. From there, both spacecraft will begin a revolutionary observation campaign that will further our understanding of the history of the universe.

| PR 35-2008 | Rosetta spacecraft meets asteroid Steins 25 August 2008 ESA’s Rosetta spacecraft will make a historic encounter with asteroid (2867) Steins on 5 September 2008. The doors of ESA’s European Space Operations Centre (ESOC) in Darmstadt, Germany, will be open to the media as of 18:00 on 5 September to follow the fly-by events. First images and results will be available for presentation to the media during a press conference which will be held at ESOC the following day, Saturday 6 September at 12:00 CEST. |
| PR 29-2008 | Ulysses, the end of an extraordinary mission 4 June 2008 After more than 17 years relentlessly exploring the effects of solar activity on the space that surrounds us, the Ulysses mission is now approaching its end. Representatives of the media are invited to a joint ESA/NASA press conference on 12 June 2008 taking place at ESA Headquarters in Paris, France, to hear about the achievements that will form the Ulysses legacy.

| PR 3-2008 | BepiColombo mission to be presented to the media 10 January 2008 The European Space Agency and Astrium jointly invite the media to attend a press conference on the occasion of the industrial contract signature of BepiColombo, the first European mission to Mercury. The event will be held at Astrium Friedrichshafen on 18 January 2008.

| PR 33-2007 | ESA to present the latest Venus Express results to the media 20 November 2007 How has our knowledge of Venus evolved since ESA’s Venus Express spacecraft has been observing Earth’s twin? To answer this question and to present fresh new results concerning our cryptic neighbour, the European Space Agency is inviting the media to attend a press conference to be held at ESA Headquarters in Paris on 28 November.
